The Crowd Goes Wild

Commissioned by Prins Bernhaard Cultuurfonds Noord-Holland

3D-printed PLA and TPC, polyurethane
An exaggerated interpretation of the classic chalice-shape of the trophy most often seen in sporting events. Oversized, flexing arms holding a shining cup in parodical gold. This is a commissioned work for the Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds Noord-Holland, which is awarded annually to a person, group or institution that has made exceptional contributions in the fiels of culture, amateur art or nature conservation.

In 2021 the prize and trophy was awarded dancer and performance artist Perry Gits.
